Tastes like filler.
Keeping up with blogs is a pain in the ass, especially when no one reads them. That's the reason why I haven't posted in quite some time. I doubt anyone will read this anyway, so I think I'll stop here for now. If I think of something else I'll come back and edit this later.

The Nonsensical Ramblings 2: Electric Boogaloo
It's been a while since I've written anything in this blog, but to the behest of my cousin Nikki I suppose I'll put some effort and time into posting an entry. She asked me to update this blog at my cousin Michelle's wedding. The wedding was nice. I had quite a bit of fun there and it was nice seeing some of my cousins again, especially the ones I rarely ever see. Food was really good too. I ordered the steak, and it definitely delivered. All in all though, it was a great time.
As far as Youtube goes, I'm on my break for Pokemon FireRed. Episode 53 was posted 2 weeks ago and I'll be reviewing games for a while until my counterpart has caught up in his Pokemon LeafGreen run. My next review is going to be Super Mario Bros. Crossover which is a flash game available on Newgrounds.com. I highly recommend giving it a play, fun times. The review should be up by Friday at the latest. Footage is captured, but it's just a matter of narrating, and if I can bring myself to actually go through narrating, then it should be up much sooner.
As far as music, today I'm listening to String Cheese Incident. I've mentioned them before, but I'm really taking a major liking into this band. I've added more of their songs into the playlist so by all means please check them out. I'm listening to the album Breathe, which primarily features Keller Williams, whom I also like. Lots of good jamming done on this album and if you're a fan of laid back music that jams out I highly recommend giving it a listen.
Well, this is the part of the blog that I suppose you may or may not care about as it pertains to wrestling, or is, at the very least, associated with it. First, in actual wrestling though, I'm loving the NXT Season 1 angle where they basically just run in and wreak all kinds of havoc on Monday Night Raw. Good stuff. Season 2 of NXT is turning out good, but I have a feeling I'll be loathing it soon enough once the "challenges" start showing up. Rey Mysterio is the World Heavyweight Champion as of the last pay-per-view, Fatal Four Way. What a way to completely derail Jack Swagger's push. I hope Swagger wins the title back soon because I really enjoyed his title reign. Sheamus won the WWE Championship at Fatal Four Way as well. I hope his second reign is a lot better than his first.
At first, I was extremely skeptical of the wrestling community when they said that Linda McMahon's Senate run is going to hurt the wrestling business, but I'm starting to think that there may be some merit to that claim. One of the major bits of news going around in the wrestling community is that Bryan Danielson (also known as Daniel Bryan) was let go from the WWE due to the first NXT invasion segment in which he choked out Justin Roberts, an announcer, with his neck tie. It's merely speculation, but there was word going around that her candidacy for Senate is responsible for him being fired. There have been other reasons too, but this one really pisses me off the most. The fact is, the man was fired for doing what he was scripted and told to do. He was fired for doing his job. Linda's whole message is that she is going to create more job opportunities, yet someone lost their job possibly because of her? That's not someone who deserves my vote. I'm not going to openly say that Linda is responsible for getting Danielson fired, but it seems like a likely scenario. Apparently some of Rob Simmons' representatives were in the crowd this past Monday night while Raw was in Bridgeport. They were apparently looking for dirt to use on Linda, which could very well explain the nonsensical apology segment that the NXT faction gave. They basically came out and said "yeah, we know what we're doing is totally wrong and terrible and we're sorry." It made no sense and it killed a lot of the momentum that this angle was building. Luckily they managed to salvage some momentum back later in the night when they attacked Cena again and took out Vince. Fact is though, had Linda not run for Senate, I'm sure things would be slightly different in the WWE right now. I don't necessarily full on blame Linda for it, as anyone has a right to run for office, for the most part, but because of her ties with the company, anything they do will have affect her campaign, and it's that association that will cause her to hurt the business.
Speaking of Linda and Vince, they're also getting sued by Martha Hart, Owen Hart's widow. The reason is because of Owen's likeness being used and referenced on WWE television. While I have sympathy for Martha for the loss of her husband, the fact of the matter is, Vince has every right to use Owen's footage for a dvd release. The timing is also rather suspicious due to the fact that it's election season and she all of a sudden is making a lawsuit about mentioning Owen. It seems like nothing more than a political stunt or wanting to get more money out of Vince (after the 18 million she already got out of him.) Owen Hart died after a very tragic accident 11 years ago at a pay per view called Over the Edge in which he fell during a stunt that would have him descend from the ceiling. It was very tragic. That aside, Owen deserves recognition for the wrestler he was, and Martha doesn't want us to remember Owen as a great wrestler. She doesn't want us to remember Owen at all. It seems like she wants to have him completely erased from our memory. I'm sorry Mrs. Hart, but we all loved Owen and respected him and what he did for the wrestling business. Owen would have been inducted into the Hall of Fame a long time ago had it not been for Martha Hart. Hold your grudge on Vince if you want, but don't deny the fans the right to acknowledge Owen for what he did within this business.
Anyway, that's all I can be bothered to talk about at this point and time. I hope you are happy Nikki, I actually bothered to post something new.

Game X Change is a nice change of pace.
So I just got home from this new store called Game X Change. Very good store. Bought 9 NES games and 1 Sega Genesis game for about $34.00. I'm happy with it.
Pokemon FireRed will have no new episode today because quite frankly I'm way too tired to narrate and edit, and I'm also way too tired to talk about Smackdown.
That's pretty much it for now, until next time, take care.

Another working day
I'm working today from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm today. There will be no episode of Pokemon FireRed today either. I'll save my description of Smackdown for tomorrow.
Sorry for the really short post, but until next time, take care.

The single most important holiday in the history of the universe.
So today is my birthday. I'm officially 22 years old. So far things have been pretty quiet. I received a card with $30.00 in it, and I've been spending the day thus far watching episodes of Fist of the North Star. I got my check yesterday for $97.79 but I have to wait for it to clear before I can go spend that money, which means I obviously didn't get the SNES yesterday, but I'm kind of glad because now that I have extra money I can add to that and not have to spend as much.
In today's episode of Pokemon FireRed, we'll be celebrating my birthday by giving a beating to an old man. To be more specific, I'll be going after my 7th badge by taking on Blaine, the fire trainer. He's actually really easy if you come prepared, and he was probably the shortest gym fight I had since Brock or Misty. He really is that easy to beat.
I'll probably be watching Smackdown a little later, but I don't want to give any details on what will happen or anything like that. You'll see my full opinion tomorrow. I don't have much else to talk about, so until then, take care.

SNEStify me Captain!
So hopefully I should get my paycheck today after working last week. I work again this coming Saturday. I'm going to try and cash that check today and go to a store my step cousin told me about. Apparently they sell retro games and are even selling an SNES for $35.00. I plan to buy that if that's the case, but even if it's sold out, I can still buy other games while I'm there. My older brother is coming with me and we're probably going to grab a bite to eat while we're out. Hopefully things should go according to plan, but you know Murphy's Law. If anything bad can happen, it will. Hopefully it won't though.
Right now I'm transferring files from one hard drive to another. My main hard drive on this computer only had 3 gigs worth of space left, while I have another hard drive with a free 127 gigs, so I figure why not move my video files to that hard drive, freeing up about 52 gigs.
Expect the usual Pokemon FireRed episode today. I'll be going through the Pokemon Mansion. Luckily it's nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be. I used repels, which saved a lot of the aggravation. Usually the place is a pain in the ass to go through, but if you use a lot of repels and know where you're going, you should be fine. I'm contemplating doing a video response to someone for my DaveWrestlingReplies channel as well. A question was posed about Randy Orton being the next Stone Cold Steve Austin. I'd say that while he may not be exactly the same as Steve Austin was, the similarities are so obvious that anyone could see it. Besides, when Orton's time has come, we will look back and note that he was this generation's Steve Austin. I'll probably go into more detail though when I put it into video format.
Right now I'm listening to the song that plays during the Moon stage from Ducktales on the NES. Holy hell is this a good video game song. It's extremely catchy, and I recommend giving it a listen. Unlike other video game songs I really like, this one has a metric ton of remixes. Probably due to the fact that the game was made by Capcom, so of course people know it.

What's this? Daniel Bryan is evolving!
So NXT was on last night. We start the show off with 2 eliminations, despite the fact that it's been advertised constantly that only 1 person would be eliminated tonight. Matt Striker walks up to Michael Tarver and replays a clip from last week's show where he said that Tarver himself should be eliminated so that the rest of the talent has a chance to win. Striker said that management felt that if he didn't want to be there then he shouldn't, and thus he was eliminated. To be perfectly honest, if you paid attention to the actual promo, Tarver said it in a way that basically says, "I'm better than all of you." He was showing confidence in himself, but I'm sure that WWE were just looking for an excuse to get him off of the show. Who knows, maybe he'll go to Raw and be Ted Dibiase's new Virgil. Next Striker goes up to Daniel Bryan who has also been eliminated for the same reason. Daniel Bryan however admitted that he hasn't won a single match on the show and that he shouldn't be there if he can't win. Needless to say I, as well as the rest of the internet wrestling community, raged hard. What kills me is they weren't eliminated by the pro's poll, which was supposably the only way to be eliminated. They were eliminated by management, making the pro's poll completely meaningless since management can fire them at any time. We then have a match between Wade Barrett and Heath Slater. Was a pretty generic match. Nothing fantastic, but nothing horrid. Barrett got the win when he caught Slater in mid-air and slammed him down with his finishing move, which is basically like a fireman's carry. After the match there is an interview backstage between Striker and Tarver. Tarver was asked if he felt the ruling was fair. He said the ruling was fair, but the competition wasn't. To be fair, he's kind of right. None of the "challenges" had anything to do with wrestling. They were more like nonsensical Double Dare ripoffs more than anything. Tarver also gave a bit of a speech about how no one knows what it's like to sleep in a car, or not knowing when your next meal is going to be, or even worse, not being able to tell your children that they'll have dinner that night. It was actually a good promo and made my sympathize with him. Like I said earlier, he's probably going to be the next Virgil. We then cut to a match between David Otunga and Justin Gabriel. To be perfectly honest, this match did nothing for me. It was nothing special at all. Otunga got the win. Whoopty do. There was also a match between Skip Sheffield and Darren Young. I don't remember if that was before or after Otunga's match but it makes no difference. This match wasn't much better either to be perfectly honest. Skip Sheffield got the win. Backstage Matt Striker is not interviewing Daniel Bryan who cut an excellent promo. Striker asked what Daniel Bryan is going to do next, he said he doesn't know. He said Daniel Bryan sucked. He said he knew a guy who was a champion in Mexico and Japan who kicked people's heads in and was considered the best in the world. He said he wasn't sure what Daniel Bryan will be up to, but he said that things have only just begun for Bryan Danielson, which is his real name. Needless to say the internet wrestling community, as well as myself, marked beyond normal capacity. I hope that Bryan Danielson comes in and is booked to be the next Chris Benoit. No, not a homicidal, suicidal maniac who kills his family after taking a ridiculous number of head bumps and steroids. I mean someone who is extremely intense and will fuck you up in the ring. After that interview, it's time for the pro's poll. Turns out Wade Barrett is in first place, which is fine by me since he was my second favorite on the show, and since "Daniel Bryan" is now gone, Wade will be a fine addition to WWE. All the rookies said that Otunga should be eliminated, but it turns out that he was in 2nd place according to the pro's poll. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater were in 3rd and 4th respectively, and finally Darren Young was in 5th place. That meant that Skip Sheffield was in 6th place and forced to leave. Shame, I actually like Sheffield. That pretty much ended the show though. Overall, it was better than last week's show, and the week before, but overall, it was meh. To be honest, they haven't been able to top the first show.
In Youtube news, I made a new account for me to talk about wrestling. The channel is called DaveWrestlingReplies. I made an introduction video for that channel and just talk about my background as a wrestling fan as well as what that channel will be about. Pretty much it's designed for me to reply to other videos about professional wrestling and to share my opinion on various wrestling topics. There will also probably be other various bits of comedy and other things related to wrestling. I made the channel because I know a lot of my subscribers on my main channel aren't necessarily wrestling fans, and don't want wrestling on my channel. To be fair, I can't necessarily blame them, and I want to appease my audience as much as I can, so I made a seperate channel to do wrestling videos. I'll still favorite wrestling videos and stuff, but my main channel will no longer upload wrestling related content, unless it's a video game. There will also be a new episode of Pokemon FireRed today. We'll be leaving Seafoam Islands and heading toward Cinnabar island. Not sure exactly how far the episode will go though. I may be able to fit most of the Pokemon Mansion in, but probably not. Either way, we won't find out until I upload it.
Anyway, that's going to do it for today's blog. I have nothing else to really talk about, so until next time, take care.
