So last night you may have noticed that the next episode of Pokemon FireRed didn't go up. Well, that's because for whatever reason Windows Movie Maker kept crashing yesterday. When it finally started working, it turned out my narration was completely unusable since I somehow managed to have an echo effect going which made it completely worthless. I should be able to get it up today, but I also have to record new footage anyway so it kind of works out. We're finally on the final episode of Donkey Kong today. I've had a lot of fun with that series, and hopefully I've convinced a few people to actually buy the game. In my opinion, I think it's well worth a purchase. After that's done though, my attention will solely be based on finishing Pokemon FireRed, which we're passed the halfway point on that too.
I think the band of choice for today is Creedence Clearwater Revival. I really dig their sound. In fact, I really like that whole Southern sound in general. Not sure exactly what it is, but I really like it. I like that they combine various styles like rock music, blues, and folk music. I have some CCR in the playlist. Check them out. Last year I picked up a greatest hits album and I'm glad I made that purchase. Lots of good stuff to listen to.
In case anyone is wondering, yes, I did sleep better last night. I fell asleep at about 11:00 pm and woke up at about 8:30 am this morning. I still feel kind of tired, but I definitely am feeling a lot better.
Anyway, that's pretty much going to do it for this entry since I pretty much have nothing else to talk about. As per the usual, enjoy the playlist and take care.

IT'S A NEW DAY...it's a new day.
So I've been up since about 4 am this morning, and I'm not exactly sure why. I've been sleeping awkwardly for the past week or so, either waking up on and off or simply not being able to sleep at all. To tell you the truth, it's getting old. I actually like sleeping. Not sure if it's due to heat or stress. Maybe a combination of both. It's been getting hotter as of late, then again, the last couple nights were relatively chilly so I'm not sure. I start my job working for Yale on the 3rd of May, which is this coming Monday. I'll be working with the catering crew. I'm supposed to have a white buttoned down shirt, black dress pants, and dress shoes. I got the pants covered, but of course I still need the shirt and shoes. I'm probably stressing out over that. Not so much because of the clothes, but I've never actually been trained for the job. I'm not sure if they're going to train me while I'm on the job, which I hope and seems most likely, or if they'll just throw me in there and say "Do this." I have a history of getting nervous when trying new things. Probably due to all kinds of discouraging statements made by people calling me a constant fuck up, though that was mostly when I was younger, it still kind of holds me back from doing a lot more even to this day. I've come to find that I'd rather avoid doing something all together than failing at it. Probably not the best way to live, and it's probably something I should work on. I don't even know why I picked now to talk about some of my personal issues. Must be the lack of sleep.
In Youtube news, expect pretty much the same deal. New episode of Pokemon FireRed today as well as a new episode of DKGB. To be honest, I'm really looking forward to narrating the next episode of DKGB since we're covering my favorite area of the game, The Tower. It has a lot of my favorite levels and easily my favorite song in the entire game. My favorite song plays during the penultimate fight with Donkey Kong. Yes, I said penultimate. I said we were getting close to the end of the series, and a video goes up today and the final one goes up tomorrow. Anyway, the song is called Showdown at the Tower. What kills me is there hasn't been a single remix of this song, at all. Not even a shitty tecno remix. The song has not been touched whatsoever, which is suprising since this song seems like it's begging for a rock/metal arrangement. Why the hell they wouldn't remix this track for Super Smash Bros. Brawl I'll never know, especially considering they make references to the game with items like the Super Hammer. Seriously, remixers of the world, remix that song already. I don't care for another remix from Mega Man 2, or Sonic the Hedgehog. Give me a remix of that song.
So a lot of people have been asking me if I plan on getting Super Street Fighter IV and the answer is a definitive "no." I already own the original Street Fighter IV, and I refuse to pay another $40.00 for a game that simply has 10 more characters and a few tweaks. You'll have to add a lot more to the table to make me consider paying that much. They should have added Super stuff as DLC for the original game. You'd have to be really stupid or filthy rich to buy the new version of the game after already having purchased the old version of the game. To be perfectly honest, it shouldn't cost anything above $25.00 max. Sorry, but 3D models, new stages, and new characters don't justify paying an extra $40.00. Seriously, if you do the math, I had to pay $50.00 for the first game. That means I would have paid $90.00 worth of Street Fighter. To be perfectly honest, that's not exactly worth it. Don't get me wrong, I love Street Fighter, but not enough to pay that kind of money. If anything, it sounds like Capcom is punishing those who bothered buying the first game when you think about it. It completely makes the original Street Fighter IV obsolete. Hell, you can't even carry over your trophies and records from the original game. You have to start from scratch. Why are you punishing the original buyers Capcom? It makes no sense to me, and probably never will.
No wrestling last night. Superstars is on tonight but that show is more of a showcase of the midcard rather than a regular show like Raw/Smackdown. As far as music goes, not sure what I'll be listening to today. Probably a random hodgepodge of different music. Listening to the Legacy theme song from Adelitas Way. It's actually really catchy, even if I wouldn't listen to this band normally. Anyway, that's pretty much going to wrap today's entry up. Like usual, enjoy the playlist and take care.

NXT? Probably should be changed to CTC for "Change the Channel."
Well, before I dwell into the topic that the title is about, I may as well talk about Youtube news and what not. Last night both Part 10 and 11 of Donkey Kong (Game Boy) went up so expect to see Part 12 today. If everything goes according to plan, as in I actually do the episodes on time, the series should finish up by Friday. All I have to do is complete The Rocky Valley and The Tower and then we're pretty much done. I had a lot of fun recording Donkey Kong and I'm glad I did that project. Pokemon FireRed will also be continuing as scheduled. I'll be going through the Safari Zone, and I'm probably going to speed most of that up just for time purposes. I go through the Safari Zone a few times, so I'll probably speed up the first couple of runs before I do the main task in there.
It's Wednesday morning and things are pretty quiet. Sounds to me like The Guess Who are a good band to chill with today. I have some of their songs in the playlist. Check them out, great band. Speaking of music, one of my buddies shown me a mashup between Lady Gaga and the band Behemoth. Wow. Talk about polar opposites. How bored must someone be to make such a mashup? Apparently they took the songs Bad Romance by Lady Gaga and Ov Fire by Behemoth. I mean, the two are such polar opposites yet it somehow fits like a glove. Oh well. I will say this though, makes Lady Gaga more tolerable. You can check that mushup out here. I like some mashups. I have a mashup between Jimi Hendrix and Jay-Z in the playlist. That mashup was done really well too. I suggest checking that up.
Alright, once again we come to the wrestling portion of the blog. After watching TNA yesterday, it wasn't too bad, but not as good as Raw was. For whatever reason, they decided that it was a good idea for Ric Flair to still be wrestling. They had him take on Abyss where both of their rings were on the line. You may be wondering what the hell I'm talking about, so I'll catch you up. Back in February, Hulk Hogan gave Abyss his WWE Hall of Fame ring and that magically gave Abyss super strength and confidence and what not. Well, Ric Flair got pissed off and has been after Abyss' ring ever since. I know, it sounds stupid, and it is. Anyway, it eventually culminated to the point where Ric Flair decided to wrestle Abyss himself. That kills me. This is a major feud in TNA, who claim to hate the WWE, and yet they're feuding over a WWE Hall of Fame ring. What's even funnier is this feud is taking precedence over their World Title. Yeah. They're basically admitting, even if not intentionally, that a WWE related item is far more important than their own World Title. Then again, this is a company that for a while thought that The Nasty Boys were a relevant tag team and actually brought them in for a feud. Really, Impact wasn't bad last night, but pretty forgettable. For TNA that's actually good, because most of the time I remember all the parts that piss me off.
Speaking of pissing me off, that brings me to NXT. This show was awesome the first couple weeks. Now it seems to have become nothing but stupid gimmicks and Daniel Bryan losing. NXT is a wrestling show that comes on Tuesday nights on SyFy that features 8 rookies getting trained by 8 pros. As of late, each week they've been doing these challenges much like you see on typical reality shows. I would have no problem with this had they been legitimate, but the problem is they're obviously rigged. It is not just obvious, it is painfully obvious. For example, there was a challenge a couple weeks ago where the rookies had to take a keg of beer and run it around the ring and whoever did it in the fastest time wins. Well, Skip Sheffield legitimately got the fastest time but yet they still claim that Heath Slater won. Literally, Skip got across the finish line and the timer still added an extra second to his time. There was also a competition that involved the superstars doing promos. The rookies had 30 seconds to talk about a subject and the audience would decide the winner. Two major problems with this. First problem is that this challenge took place in England, and the crowd was obviously going to pick the only Englishman, Wade Barrett, to win, and they did. It was blatantly obvious that the crowd would be bias, and they were. Hell, they even booed Justin Gabriel because he said he was from South Africa. My second gripe was that they obviously intended from certain superstars to win this thing and others to completely blow it. Daniel Bryan went up, and his topic was "passion." Okay, this would be impossible to screw up, but he managed. He couldn't even do the promo because he was interrupted by Matt Striker who cut him off maybe halfway through and told him to stay on topic. Here's the part that makes it obvious that it's rigged. They gave people really stupid topics like "toothpaste" and "cereal." Hell, they gave Skip Sheffield a topic about "rainbows" and he didn't even stay on topic. He just started spewing out his catchphrases and wasn't interrupted at all. It's obvious they want Daniel Bryan to lose all these challenges, just like it's obvious that they want him to lose his matches. He hasn't won a single match yet. I understand the first night, he lost to Chris Jericho who was the World Heavyweight Champion, and they had one hell of a match. He then lost to The Great Khali, which would have been an obvious squash given that Khali is like 7'3 and Daniel Bryan is 5'9. Okay, that's fine too. He also loses to William Regal, which is understandable, Regal was his legit mentor for a long time, so that makes sense. Now he's just getting squashed by other rookies, which makes no sense to me. I almost think Vince is blatantly saying "fuck you" to the internet wrestling community. Daniel Bryan is pretty much the main reason why the IWC watches NXT because he was the king of the independent scene under the name Bryan Danielson. The kid can wrestle and is considered the best in the world by many. Anyway, NXT is becoming way too predictable now. Maybe that's what Vince wants. Maybe he'll give Daniel Bryan a totally unexpected win just to throw us off, but I hope it's soon because they're getting to the point where they can't bury this kid any deeper.
Anyway, that's going to do it for this blog. As per the usual, feel free to leave comments and enjoy the playlist. Until next time, take care.

Monkey Business.
If you have been paying attention to TheGamesNight, you may have noticed I didn't upload a new episode of Donkey Kong yesterday. Well, that's because there was a bit of an editing botch which apparently fucked up the whole clip. I'm going to upload it today as well as the next episode to make up for lost ground. It's alright either way because the series is almost over. Just figure I'd clear that up here for those who are actually paying attention to the written part of this blog and not just the playlist. Speaking of which, I added some new songs. 2 of those songs are actually raegae. Yeah, I kind of dig raegae now. I added Come Around by Collie Buddz and Buffalo Soldier by Bob Marley. It's kind of a given that if you like raegae music you pretty much have to like Bob Marley. Pokemon FireRed did go up yesterday though since that came out just fine. I think DKGB had that problem because I tried using speed up effects to shorten the death runs. I'll probably just have to cut them out entirely.
So the newest WeDoTech podcast is up. Check it out, and make sure to leave comments. Let me know if I did a decent editing job, given that it is the first podcast edited by yours truly. Like I stated previously, the latest podcast had Matt with James and I rather than Dean. I think he did a decent job given what seemed like such short notice. Then again, the podcasts aren't scripted, so it'd be hard to be completely in the dark. We generally just go over what the main topics of discussion will be and just go straight from there. Hopefully there will come a point where every staff member has been on the podcast at least once. So far, James, Dean, and myself are the regulars and we've had Tom and Matt on the show. You can check out the WeDoTech staff here.
In gaming news, apparently there is going to be a remake of the Tecmo football games called Tecmo Bowl: Throwback. I'm not a major football fan but those games were definitely very fun. Tecmo Super Bowl made my list for Top 5 NES Sports Games. I'm glad it's getting a PS3 release as well as an Xbox 360 release. I'll probably get it if it's cheap enough. I wish Konami would do a remake of Blades of Steel. That would be awesome. I also saw gameplay footage of the Fist of the North Star game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I'm a massive fan of Fist of the North Star so I really hope this game comes to North America. It's being made by Koei and is another installment in the Warriors franchise. The most famous series in that franchise is Dynasty Warriors, which I'm also a pretty big fan of. The game is called Hokuto Musou. Not sure what it will be called if it comes to North America. I know this though, the game looks badass. Also saw the trailer for Bionic Commando Rearmed 2. Needless to say they're still cleaning up the mess from when I exploded with pleasure. I named the original my "game of the year" back in 2008. Needless to say this is also a "first day" pick up.
Now on to the wrestling portion of this entry. Leave now if you hate wrestling, you've been warned. Anyway, I'm going to have to edit this entry later because I haven't watched TNA Impact yet. I have it recorded on my DVR so I'll be watching this when I'm done with this blog. Last night was the Draft Lottery on Monday Night Raw. The show itself was actually pretty good. Lots of wrestling. The only real moment that I raged was when Dolph Ziggler lost to Hornswoggle, a midget. However, he choked the little dwarf out so that made up for that joke of a match. The draft picks themself were pretty one sided though. Monday Night Raw got John Morrison, R-Truth, Edge, and Chris Jericho. Friday Night Smackdown got Kelly Kelly, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Christian. Today is the supplemental draft where they pretty much move people but they're generally not important enough to be announced during the actual show. It's pretty obvious though that Smackdown got the short end of the stick losing both Edge and Jericho, who were pretty much the world title scene on Smackdown for the past month. The good thing about this is it leaves room for midcard guys on Smackdown to rise up to a main event level status, such as Kofi Kingston, Christian, and a few others. The only real big stars Smackdown has at the moment are Rey Mysterio, the Undertaker, and arguably CM Punk. I feel bad for any midcarder on Raw though because their main event is absolutely stacked. They now have John Cena, Triple H, Edge, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, and Batista all capable of being in the main event. That glass ceiling is pretty much cemented there. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Well, I think that's going to do it for this entry. It will either be edited so I can talk about TNA or TNA will get talked about in tomorrow's entry. Feel free to comment and enjoy the playlist. Until next time, take care.

EXTREEEEEEEEME MODE deactivated.
So it's the morning after the pay per view and to be honest I fell asleep during the actual show. Not that the show was terrible from what I've seen, but I was just way too tired and felt like crap to stay up. I'll read the results off though and give you my thoughts.
Okay, well I'll start with the WWE Championship match between John Cena and Batista. Apparently Cena won by tying Batista's legs to the turnbuckle with duct tape. Well, I'm glad Cena's reign is longer than a single month but the ending seems rather silly. Clever, but still silly. I was asleep during the actual match so I can't tell you this based on what I saw. When I actually see it, maybe I'll edit this particular entry and tell you exactly my reaction as I saw it taking place.
Jack Swagger and Randy Orton had a decent match. I didn't expect any technical masterpieces but for what it was it was pretty decent. Swagger won and looked really credible as the champion here. Of course they had the moments for the fans to mark out for Randy Orton but they made Swagger win decisively with the Dr. Bomb (gutwrench powerbomb.) All in all, I enjoyed it.
I fell asleep just as Edge vs. Chris Jericho was starting. Edge won, and from what I hear it was a decent match. I also heard Jericho did a springboard Codebreaker, which I can't wait to actually see how that came out. I look forward to actually seeing this match the chance I get to. Having Edge win was a good way to end the feud, and hopefully it will end there and both guys can move on to do different things. Not to say that I dislike their feud or anything, because I don't, but having 2 matches is better than taking up 5 months worth of ppv space.
Sheamus beat Triple H, but apparently HHH was injured so he had to take the loss as a way to let him go and get that surgery done. The match was pretty boring for a street fight. I mean, I didn't expect bloodshed, but I expected more. Then again, I didn't know until the match itself that HHH would be injured so there you go. At least Sheamus got the rub and looks like a credible heel main eventer.
CM Punk beat Rey Mysterio in a good match. There was outside interference by I think 2 guys who hid under the ring. Punk should have won at Mania as that would have made more sense. Does Rey Mysterio have to join SES? I have no idea. I wait for tonight to find out if that's the case. If he doesn't, then that means their match last night meant absolutely nothing since Punk didn't have to actually get his head shaved.
Beth Phoenix beat Michelle McCool in an Extreme Makeover match. Apparently the match was basically a street fight, but the weapons were items you would find in the home, like an ironing board, brooms, etc. I wonder what the WWE was trying to get at. Either way, I only saw it in bits and pieces since this was the point I started falling asleep. Match was a bit of a clusterfuck from what I remember but meh.
There was a tag team gauntlet which I didn't expect. They didn't put it on the main card, but I shouldn't be surprised really. They've been adding surprise matches a lot as of late. Anyway, this came about when The Miz and Big Show were in the ring ranting and raving about how they were the most AWESOME tag team ever and what not. Teddy Long comes out and he and Miz have some back and forth banter. It eventually turns into a 3 on 1 gauntlet match, where the winning team will get a future title shot at their tag team titles. The first team was John Morrison and R-Truth, who are basically created by the random stable generator that WWE have. In fact, most teams in the WWE are created by that piece of equipment. They should have just called it "Every tag team vs. you guys" because it featured nearly every tag team left in the WWE in the first place, minus The Dudebusters, but no one cares about them. Anyway, John Morrison cost R-Truth and himself the match after getting disqualified by locking Big Show in a submission while touching the ropes. Next we have the team of Mark Henry and MVP, or as a few people I know have been calling them, Team Blackup since that's pretty much all they've done. They lose pretty easily. Finally, we have the Hart Dynasty, lead by none other than Bret Hart himself, who quickly come in, kick Big Show out of the ring, hit The Miz with their rendition of the Hart Attack and get the 3 count. I'm surprised they got the pop that they did, though I'm sure that has more to do with Bret being there more than anything. Either way, not bad for a show opener and a surprise match.
Shad vs. JTG was pretty much a throwaway. Why they didn't give Shad the win I'll never know. He had the big heel turn and was supposed to now seem like a serious guy who wanted to go solo but he lost to his old tag team partner who didn't really do much in the first place. Didn't care for this match.
From what I've seen, the ppv was about above average. I'll have to find a way to watch the matches I missed due to sleeping but that shouldn't be too hard.
Anyway, now that I got the wrestling stuff out of the way, time to move on to other news. Sent the podcast to James today. Turns out I ended up doing all of the editing since Dean was simply too busy to even add the music. Oh well, nothing too difficult. As far as Youtube goes, narrating videos has been an all around pain in the ass as of late. This sore throat of mine is not making things easy, especially since there are times where I absolutely need to cough but I try not to so I can keep going. Of course later when I cough it will be all the more painful because of holding it in so much. Either way, I plan to keep going. The reason I've decided to put so much work out all at once is to make up for a long year's hiatus of not doing anything, so if I have to go through a little inconveniences during the process, I'll manage. I'm lucky enough to have subscribers who are fairly understanding and when things come up they tend to cut me some slack. That being said, I have to work on Part 24 for Pokemon FireRed as well as Part 10 of Donkey Kong. We're actually getting close to the end game for Donkey Kong. We're finishing up the Iceberg today and then it's the Rocky Valley and finally The Tower. I'm at almost halfway through Pokemon FireRed though. I would be halfway through had this been the original Pokemon Red, but FireRed has more stuff added in that the original game didn't have. Either way, I'm more anxious to get Pokemon FireRed done compared to Donkey Kong because there is far more editing that needs to be done in Pokemon than there is in Donkey Kong. Editing yesterday's episode was damn near painful. I might take a different approach when certain areas come up because I'll go insane with the editing if that's the case.
As far as music goes, I've been pretty hooked to a band called The String Cheese Incident as of late. They're a weird mixture of genres. They sometimes have a bit of a jazz/funk vibe but suddenly switch to blue grass or just straight out start jamming. I've really grown to enjoy them. I thank a Youtuber by the username roundthewheel for introducing them to me. Speaking of him, I have the live version of the song Round the Wheel up in the playlist. I suggest checking it out. I suggest getting the album too. The album goes by the same name. Great listen. Also, speaking of the playlist, some people have been telling me some of the songs don't work for them or none of the songs don't work for them. Sometimes you have to give it a few seconds for the song to load, though with that playlist sometimes the songs get taken down off of the site for whatever reason so I'll have to fix that myself one of these days. Just let me know if any particular song is absolutely not working and I'll take care of it. I also added a lot of Savatage and Blind Guardian last night, 2 of my abdsolute most favorite bands ever.
Well, I think that's all I can write about at this point in time. I'm not exactly sure what to ramble on about next so I think I'll stop while I'm ahead. Anyway, until next time, take care.

EXTREEEEEEEEEME drivel.
So I just woke up about 35 minutes ago (6:35 am when I started writing this) after a night's sleep that wasn't that great. My throat is dry and sore, my nose is stuffy, but dammit there's work to be done! Last night James, Matt, and I recorded the new podcast. Dean is normally there but couldn't make it for whatever reason. I know he was busy and will be busy, but I don't remember what his exact excuse was last night. Luckily Matt was there to fill the void. I was also in charge of recording the podcast this week, and probably will be for a while until something happens, which I don't mind, but I'm not exactly sure if the rest of the house will care for that too much. Oh well. Since I recorded it, of course I have to edit it. That ought to be fun. /Sarcasm. Oh well, I offered to do it, so I may as well man up and live to my word. Luckily Dean won't be too busy in his very important and hectic schedule to add the finishing touches once I simply clean it up.
I'm glad I chose to start this blog up. At first I wasn't sure if I would actually do it because quite bluntly I don't have a reputation for keeping up with projects and that's basically what this is. A lot of people have told me to start my own website, and this is more than likely as close as that is getting. I'm cheap and hosting a website costs money that I don't have. I'm trying to keep this blog as interesting as I possibly can however, as you may have noticed there is a music playlist for your enjoyment. I'm sorry if you're not a fan of the music I selected, but oh well, you can't win them all I suppose.
In Youtube and gaming news, I'll have to edit Part 23 of my Pokemon FireRed run, as well as Part 9 of my Donkey Kong run on TheGamesNight. I'm having a lot of fun with that series and it's not as strenuous, editing wise, as Pokemon FireRed. I don't have to cut out battles. I mean, technically I don't have to cut out battles anyway, but of course if I didn't it would be painful for the viewer to watch and the series would take damn near forever. That wouldn't be fun for anyone. Donkey Kong is completely recorded though. All that game needs is the various editing and narrations and it could be uploaded today if I wanted, however, I'm keeping it at 1 episode a day for various reasons. I also saw the trailer for Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 on WeDoTech.net the other day. Ask anyone I talked to about it and they'll tell you I damn near exploded with joy. If you are new to me then you may not recall that I named the original Bionic Commando Rearmed my Game of the Year for 2008 because quite frankly it was an awesome game. 2 looks like it's going to be just as awesome, if not better. You can watch the trailer here.
AND NOW IF I CAN BE EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME FOR A FUCKING MOMENT! IT'S TIME TO TALK ABOUT EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway....
So yeah, tonight is a pay per view event called Extreme Rules. As you may know I am a wrestling fan and will be watching this. I'm going to spend the rest of this blog to talk about wrestling, so if you hate it, you can stop reading right about.........................................now.
First thing's first, let me describe the pay per view for those of you who don't pay attention and are insistent to finish reading this blog in it's entirety. Extreme Rules is a pay-per-view in which every match has some kind of special stipulation. The concept was based on the WWE version of ECW, which was resurrected back in 2006, though folded once again earlier this year. Anyway, point is, none of these matches are traditional 1 on 1 or tag team matches. I'm going to read the card off and tell you 2 things. 1. What I want to happen. 2. What I predict will happen. Again, if you're not a wrestling fan, this may seem completely foreign to you, but hell, maybe I'll spark some kind of interest, though I highly doubt it.
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton (Extreme Rules Match)
What I want to happen: I want Jack Swagger to have a decisive victory over Randy Orton signifying him as a true champion. Last thing we need is to have another weak rising star champion like we did with Sheamus' WWE title run. They made him look weak and had him win under shady circumstances only to have him lose the title 3 months later. This could be a chance for WWE to redeem themselves and finally have a rising star who has a credible title reign. It's bad enough they made Jack Swagger look weak throughout this entire "feud." I put that in quotes because it's based on the fact that Randy Orton already pinned Swagger twice, which is not much of a feud.
What I predict: If WWE were smart, they'd have Swagger win, but I see Orton taking this. It seems that they're trying to get Randy Orton on Smackdown without having to take up a spot on the draft, which is tomorrow night by the way, and this seems like an easy loophole just for that.
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista (Last Man Standing Match)
What I want to happen: John Cena needs to retain the title to give the belt consistency. He won the belt last month at Wrestlemania, and a really short reign, in my opinion, devalues the credibility of the belt. Batista has been a lot more entertaining ever since he had his big heel turn last year, but for the sake of consistency, Cena needs to retain.
What I predict: Cena will more than likely retain. Cena is basically the golden boy and I doubt WWE will have him lose the title in just a month.
Edge vs. Chris Jericho (Steel Cage Match)
What I want: To be perfectly honest, I'm fine with this match going either way. If Jericho wins it makes him look like a very credible heel and will give him a lot of heat for beating the "returning hero" Edge. At the same time, logic and reason has me pulling for Edge because Jericho got the win at Wrestlemania, which shocked me actually. Edge winning would be a good way to close the feud and have the two move on to doing something different, which would be a good thing. To be honest, I wouldn't mind another Chris Jericho/Rey Mysterio feud. Their matches last year were top notch and if you can manage to find their matches from last year by all means watch them.
What I predict: Edge will more than likely take this. Jericho won last month, so now it's Edge's turn. Like I already said, this will be a good way to close the feud and to have them move on to other things.
Triple H vs. Sheamus (Street Fight)
What I want: Sheamus needs to win this to gain any credibility he never had when he was actually the champion. The fact of the matter is, as much as I loved the fact that Sheamus was the WWE champion, his reign had absolutely no credibility, and they blatantly made that clear when he not only lost the championship due to Triple H, but had him lose decisively to him at Wrestlemania. Sheamus needs to get the win here to seem like a credible main event level threat.
What I predict: Sheamus wins. This isn't the "biggest event of the year" so I'm sure Triple H will likely let Sheamus take the win this month. Though I very well could be wrong about that.
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (If Punk loses, his head gets shaved)
What I want: Well, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure why this feud is even continuing. Punk should have won back at Wrestlemania, but since that show is the "feel good" show and the general rule is that the faces always win I wasn't surprised that Mysterio won last month. Had Punk won at Wrestlemania it would have been a great excuse to continue the feud within the span of the next month leading to now. The stipulation for that match was had Rey Mysterio lost he would have been forced to join the Straightedge Society. Rey won, and there was no stipulation on Punk. Of course, Punk is challenging Mysterio to a rematch and says he will shave his head if he loses. That's fine and dandy, but if they wanted to do this kind of stipulation and have a second match, having Punk win at Mania would have been a more logical way of getting to this point. Punk absolutely should get the win.
What I predict: Mysterio will more than likely win. If they didn't have Mysterio join SES at Mania, they're not going to have him join now. Punk will more than likely get his head shaved.
Women's Champion Michelle McCool vs. Beth Phoenix (Extreme Makeover Match)
What I want: First off, I don't even know what an "Extreme Makeover Match" is. I'll assume that the winner gives the loser a makeover of their choosing. Sounds stupid to me and it more than likely will be very stupid. This will probably be the "piss break" match. I want Beth Phoenix to crush Michelle McCool. WWE needs a new strong face diva and Beth fits that role perfectly.
What I predict: Beth wins.
JTG vs. Shad Gaspard (Strap Match)
What I want: To be perfectly honest, I don't know why this match even made it to pay-per-view other than the fact that they need 10 minutes to fill. Cryme Time were a tag team that accomplished nothing and were pretty much glorified jobbers. I suppose for the sake of consistency with the rest of this blog though, I suppose I should pick a person to win. I want Shad to win to give him some credibility. He just turned heel and having him beat his old partner would give him some momentum to move on to bigger things.
What I predict: Shad wins.
Well, that's pretty much it for the wrestling stuff, as well as this particular entry in general. I can't believe I actually almost took an hour to write this. It's about 7:30 now and I smell bacon, so I'm probably about to have some breakfast. Anyway, I'm gonna get going now, so until next time, take care.
I'm glad I chose to start this blog up. At first I wasn't sure if I would actually do it because quite bluntly I don't have a reputation for keeping up with projects and that's basically what this is. Howdy
Hey everyone. I go by many names, but for this new little creation of mine I shall simply be referred to as D.
You may remember me from such projects as IronFury on Youtube, or Dave on WeDoTech.net.
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet because this is primarily an introduction. If you don't know me and are reading this for the first time you should check out the links I posted above. More than likely, people who read this or are coming to this blog will know me from those places, or possibly other places as well. There are a few things about me that you need to know. First thing's first, I'm a gamer. I play games, I review games, and I love games. If you got a controller and are in need of a player, I would likely take the time to kick back and go a couple rounds with you. Next thing, I'm a pro wrestling fan. I know what you're thinking and yes, I'm well aware that it is an act, still, I find it entertaining. I've been a fan of pro wrestling for years now and I don't see myself letting go of it any time soon. Finally, I'm a music enthusiast. I love music, and various kinds of music. I won't go into too much detail on it now, but who knows, maybe I'll do an entire blog about my music tastes because I like a lot of different music.
Anyway, this is all that needs to be said for now, as this is just an introduction after all. If you have any questions or comments, by all means, feel free to leave them, and I hope to continue doing these blogs in the future.
